U.S. stocks recover and close higher yesterday

U.S. stocks are closed mostly higher , on Friday , after a wave of selling over two days raised concerns about the future of monetary stimulus .


The Dow Jones industrial average DJI at closing 44.31 points , or 0.30 % , to 14802.63 points .


The benchmark Standard & Poor 's 500 Index was up 4.45 points , or 0.28% to 1592.64 points .


The Nasdaq Composite Index was laced technology companies 7.39 points , or 0.22 % , to 3357.25 points .


At the end of the week, the Dow Jones trading stamp down 1.8 % and the S & P down 2.1 % and the Nasdaq fell 1.9% , and this was the biggest weekly decline for the three indicators since April , and the fourth week of losses of the past five weeks .
